Stripping the Rolling Chassis
Now that the rest of the body work is out of the way, working on what remains of the vehicle has been made much easier.
Attempted to remove the prop shafts, but the bolts on these seem to be somewhat stuck. Will be soaking WD40 into them for a few days and try again.
The exhaust has now been completely removed, as well as the fuel tank. I will be getting a new tank, which is nice and clean on the inside (unlike this one).
Also stripped the remaining ancillaries, carb, distributor & manifold off the engine. I am now planning to remove the engine now, and get it onto an engine stand for a full stripdown & clean. As I've got everything disconnected from the engine now, it make sense to do the full job.
