Rock Sliders Fitted

Rock Sliders & Power Steering box have been attached to the chassis:

Clutch + Gearbox Refitted

This weekend a new clutch has been fitted, as well as new slave cylinder, release bearing and release lever. Once these were all ready, the gearbox was hooked up to the engine, and fitted onto the chassis.

Then gearbox is refitted to engine/chassis

Engine mounted

Mounted the engine on the chassis. I will then replace the clutch and rear crank seal before fitting the gearbox onto the chassis. Once that is done, then replace the timing belt, and other general service items.

Axles refitted to Chassis

Axles have now been refitted onto the chassis. Now the rolling chassis is complete, next job will be finish the chassis paint, and fit the engine/gearbox.

Chassis Rebuilt

Major work on the chassis is now complete. New rear crossmember has been welded on, along with newly fabricated rear bump stop brackets. New Outriggers have been welded on also, with the bulkhead in place to ensure correct positioning.

The chassis has also had an under coat of Red Oxide, and an initial top coat of gloss black paint. A couple more layers of black will follow shortly.
